2021 Maple Sugar Season Events! | Stamford Moms

Maple sugar season events are set to begin in Connecticut this weekend!

February through March marks maple sugar season in Connecticut! Cold nights and warm sunny days are needed to turn sap into syrup! Maple syrup production is winter farming and, therefore, weather dependent. A typical season is five weeks long.

This year, we are lucky that the season presents an additional opportunity for a socially distanced outdoor activity for the whole family.
