Summer Fun Thursdays at Stamford Town Center

Every Thursday pre-show activities begin at 2:30 p.m. and the show begins at 3 p.m. in Grand Court, there will be live entertainment and fun for the whole family from Magical Memories Entertainment! Check the schedule of events, below and click here for details!

Head to a Movie

Movies in the Park at Mill River Park (outdoors)
Movies on select Fridays on Karp Lawn in partnership with AVON on Tour. Movie starts promptly at 8PM. Bring your blankets, chairs, family, and friends for a community movie night experience.

Thursdays at the Theater (indoors)
Head to the South End Branch of the Ferguson Library at 3 p.m. on Thursdays for a movie and popcorn.

Friday Flicks (indoors)
On Fridays 2 p.m., head to the Main Library Dudley N. Williams, Jr. Auditorium for a movie and snacks.

Avon on Tour Saturday Matinee (indoors)
Head to Stamford Town Center the first Saturday of the month for a family friendly movie! Movie begins at 2 p.m. Preschool activities begin at 1:30 p.m.
July 4: The Wild Robot
August 1: How to Train Your Dragon

Movie in Commons Park (outdoors)
Wednesdays beginning July 6. Bring a picnic and blanket/chairs and sit on the lawn in Commons Park to enjoy a complimentary movie. Movie begins at dusk, 8:15 p.m.

Fun Saturday Mornings

Liven up your summer Saturdays with family-friendly Fun Saturday Morning programs at the Brownstein/Selkowitz Carousel Pavilion at Mill River Park. Click here for the rundown.

Sunday Funday

Enjoy a read-along at the Whittingham Discovery Center at Mill River Park and FREE snacks with an activity on Sundays at 10 a.m. The first 25 participants will get a free copy of the book read that day!

Head to one of the Ferguson Library Branches

Whether you’re looking for new books for your children to enjoy, a storytime, movie time, crafts or another activity… the Ferguson Library branches offer so many options! Click here to check their kids calendar for events like Stuffie Sleepaway Camp on July 8 and Slime Time on July 22!

Make a SPLASH at the Splash Pad!

Scalzi Park
97 Bridge Street, Stamford
Open 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. daily, weather permitting
The splash pad closes in the event of rain, thunderstorms, etc.

Triangle Park at Harbor Point
Open 10 a.m. – 9 p.m. daily, weather permitting

Enjoy Outdoor Storytime

There are several opportunities to enjoy a story outside in Stamford this summer! Just remember to bring a blanket or lawn chair and some snacks!

Watch an Outdoor Performance

SHAKESPEARE ON THE GREEN: A Midsummer Night’s Dream will run, July 9, 10, 11, 12, 16, 17, 18, 19 at 7:30 p.m. Park opens for seating at 6 p.m. Remember your blankets and lawn chairs! Click here for details.

Performances are free. There is a suggested contribution of $20 for adults and $10 for seniors and children.
