How many kids do you each have and what are their ages?
I have one child, a 4 month old!
What are your favorite family activities in Stamford?
We love to stay in and chill as family but when we do go out we like to take a walk at Kosciusko Park and trying out new restaurants.
Why did you decide to raise your family in Stamford?
I lived in Stamford for almost half my life. Moved around a couple times but now I’m back, I’m used to the city and feels comfortable.
Tell us about your career.
I’m preparing to get into the tax and law field after graduation. Right now I’m finishing my B.A. at UCONN (three semesters left). I’m also studying for my IRS enrolled agent exam at the same time.
Tell us about Germain Accounting & Financials, LLC.
Germain Accounting & Financials, LLC is a virtual tax preparation, mobile notary and loan signing service, offered to individuals and businesses. I’m currently doing it part time. I’m hoping to expand and go full time in the future.

At Germain Accounting & Financials, LLC love the fact that I can help people understand their tax liability and make my own schedule.
What is your number one financial and/or tax tip for families?
My number one financial tip for families is always save as much money as you can and only borrow when it’s absolutely necessary. As far as taxes, if you had any type of earned income within a tax year regardless if you only worked for a couple months and even if you’re not required to file an income tax, FILE your taxes to get the money that was taking out of your paychecks. You’re leaving money on the table for Uncle Sam when you don’t.
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve gotten from another mom?
To enjoy every single moment with my baby because they grow in a blink of an eye!
