I have one 6 month old.
What are your favorite family activities in Stamford?
We love nature and the Bartlett Arboretum has always been a favorite place of mine. The gardens are so dreamy and fun to explore.
What do you like about living in the area?
This area is so special we can make a quick drive to the beach or to a wonderful hiking trail, the food scene is delicious, and just close enough to New York City.
What is the inspiration behind Luna & Charlie Events?
My company name is based on 2 literary characters – Luna Lovegood from Harry Potter and Charlie Bucket from Charlie & The Chocolate Factory. I wanted to help dreamers celebrate all life’s chapters.
What do you love about planning events?
I love witnessing family’s storybook moments from mitzvahs, marriages, motherhood, milestones, and everything in between.
What are your #1 tips for making sure an event goes smooth?
Perfection doesn’t exist. Be able to pivot or have a plan b if things don’t go exactly as planned, especially our New England weather.
Prep and order supplies in advance. Not every company has a 2-day shipping policy. When giving yourself some time you can partner with amazing vendors.
What is the best piece of advice you’ve gotten from another mom?
Be kind to myself and stay present.
