How to Make Jelly Bean Bracelets | Stamford Moms

Looking for something to do with all the jelly beans that are going to show up between now and Sunday? Make jelly bean bracelets! We love this idea from our sister site, South Orange County Moms!

Please note, this activity does require an adult’s help!

Materials:

  • Jelly Beans
  • Sewing needle and thread
  • Optional ribbon

Instructions:

  1. Setup your needle and thread, tie a knot at the end of the thread
  2. Place your jelly beans in the order or design you want to string
  3. An adult should insert the needle into the jelly bean and pull it through to the knotted end of the thread
  4. Continue stringing the jelly beans until you reach your desired bracelet length. I did measure it around my kid’s wrist a few times.
  5. Once the desired length is reached, cut off the needle and tie the other end of the bracelet.
  6. I added a simple pink bow to the end of the bracelet as well.
  7. Lastly tie on the bracelet onto your child wrist. Note, they will have to eat it or your will need to cut it off to remove the jelly bean bracelet.
