Halloween celebrations will look different this year. But, there are still plenty of opportunities to get the kids dressed up for some festive fun while social distancing and following safety protocols.

FREE Halloween Drive Thru
Stew Leonard’s Norwalk
Friday, October 2 – Saturday, October 31, 11 a.m. – 9 p.m., daily
Kids under age 12 who wear their Halloween costume to Stew Leonard’s from Monday, October 26 – Saturday, October 31, 2020 will receive a free ice cream cone at our Ice Cream Parlor. And, if they say “Trick or Treat” at the checkout lane, they’ll receive a free small treat bag!

Halloween Scavenger Hunt

Halloween Costume Photo Contest with the Bartlett Arboretum
Sunday, October 25 – Saturday, October 31
This year, they will have a virtual Halloween costume photo contest! Guests young and old will take photo of themselves or their furry friends in their costumes on the Bartlett Arboretum grounds. You can then post it on social media using the hashtag #Bartletthalloween (make sure your profile is public so we can see it!). Three contest finalists will be determined by Bartlett staff and the winner will be determined by our social media audience! The winner will receive a goodie bag with a free Bartlett family membership.

Maritime Aquarium
October 28 – 30, 5:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
Costumes are encouraged, but not required. In lieu of Trick-or-Treating, all guests will receive a goody bag upon leaving the Aquarium!

Select a day between Saturday, October 24, and Saturday, October 31, 2020, pick a location that will allow you to respect social distancing guidelines, and a time that works with your schedule to do the race! The Monster Dash has something for everyone; there’s even a 1-mile fun run for children and families. Since this is a virtual race, you decide when and where you complete your race.
