A Go Fund Me Page has been set up by the wife of the Wilton man who tested positive for Coronavirus.
The family is requesting that their names be withheld for their privacy. But the patient’s wife told me that he is in a medically induced coma at Danbury Hospital. She and their infant twins are now under quarantine at home. She says he contracted the virus after a work conference in San Francisco.
According to the Go Fund Me Page, she set it up to help with medical and other expenses because although he is on short term disability, both are unable to work.
There are now two cases of Coronavirus in Connecticut.
She also shared with me her message for others, “Wash your hands and take the virus seriously! It is not overreacting to take safety precautions seriously.”
