Bruce Beginnings: Symmetrical Seashells

The Long Island Sound has a lot of creatures that call it home, especially bivalves! In this Bruce Beginning kids will learn about seashells by reading a story and crafting their own seashell to take home. Children, ages 2.5-5, and their caregivers are encouraged to explore the museum’s collections and exhibitions through picture books and hands-on activities.  Topics will rotate between art and science. This program is free with general admission, but space is limited. See the Visitor Service desk upon arrival to the Museum.
