Kyle Wrentz is the Co-Founder and Artistic Director of Break a Leg Theater Works, a successful non-profit children’s theater on the South Shore for the past 8 years. The organization’s mission is to offer exceptional experiences in the performing arts to all interested students. Kyle, a professional actor for over 22 years, holds a BFA in Theater from The University of Hartford, The Hartt School. His extensive career includes performances on Broadway and worldwide in The Lion King, where he understudied the roles of Simba & Scar, as well as with the acclaimed a capella group, American Vybe, at Epcot. Kyle’s regional work spans numerous theaters across North America, featuring notable roles such as Jim in Big River and 2nd Officer Lightoller in Titanic. In addition to his work with Break a Leg, Kyle has hosted galas and events across New England and is set to play Daddy Warbucks in Annie.
